Fast and powerful Porsche cars have earned a special place in the "Aurum 1006 km", the largest race in the Baltics.

It's enough to mention that out of the 23 endurance races that have already taken place in Palanga, 15 have been won by teams driving cars of various modifications of this very brand.

The 24th edition of the "Aurum 1006 km" race is set to take place this Saturday. While participants prepare for the main event, the eighth Spectator Slalom has already begun. On Wednesday afternoon, the “Aurum 1006 km race”, the largest in the Baltic States, got off to a symbolic start in Palanga.

This year, the commissions moved from the Darius and Girenas Stadium to the race track, where the cars prepared for the race were brought.

Tv3.lt will have a 3-hour broadcast starting at 14:00 on Wednesday, 19 July, showcasing the technical and administrative committees, team presentations, and all race participants with their goals.

Drag race practices will start on Thursday, and winners will be decided after the final battles on Friday, July 21st, with the award ceremony for the “Road Police Service” and “Ultim8” Cups taking place on the same day.
