17 teams have already started registration to participate in the 25th 'Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook' race

The Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook race, the largest car sports festival in the Baltic States, will take place in Palanga on July 17-20 this year.

It will be an extraordinary 25th race in its history, which has been going on since 2000 and has never stopped. Although there is still quite a bit of time before the race, 17 teams already have started applications.

"Such activity is very pleasing and allows us to predict that the teams are preparing for this race very responsibly," says Darius Jonušis, the main organiser of the race. We have never experienced this level of activity at the beginning of February in any year we've been organising this race. The 25th anniversary of the race could be a motivating factor for athletes and team managers to start their preparations this year.

Let's take a closer look at the technical park of the participants. RD Signs racing drivers Audrius Butkevičius and Paulius Paškevičius, who will be joined by one or two athletes, will be driving an upgraded, more powerful Lamborghini Huracan GT3 car.

On the grid, we will also see the teams - "Porsche Baltic 4", "Juta Racing 1", "Dynamit Energy Racing", "Porsche Baltic 91" and "Porsche Baltic 92", "LG Oiled by Porsche Club Lithuania"

As one of the biggest surprises, the Anteja Racing Team, which has driven a diesel BMW car for many years, will race with the Porsche GT3 Cup (992). It is a competitive car, and as far as I know, there will be 5 or even 7 such cars in Palanga this year."
