First 3 Hours Have Passed Instantly
During the first 3 hours, the competition’s leaders “Palanga Spa Hotel by EMG Motorsport” have already driven 127 laps or 1/3 of the distance. The team drives the “Porsche 911” car.
The second place belongs to “Circle K milesPLUS Racing Team” which lags only by one lap. The third place goes to “Palanga Spa Hotel 2 by SpeedLover”.
There are a total of 373 laps forming 1006 km of the track.
Majority of people predicted that the new racing series “TCR Baltic Trophy” will become popular but nobody believed that it will get such a huge success.
The class is dictated by “Hegelmann Transporte by Algirdai@nebankrutuok.lt” which members of the team are driving the latest “Hyundai i30 N TCR”.
After the first 3 hours of the competition, there were three teams in the TOP10 that are driving “TCR Baltic Trophy” cars.
In the meantime, the fifth position belongs to “DHL Racing Team” which are followed by “ALM Motorsport”.
10th place belongs to “London Grill Racing Team” whilst the rest are not far from the TOP10.
There were many stops for a variety of reasons. Spectators predict that this year’s races will not improve the record.
“Sparti reklama – PF Kekava Racing Team” had the failure of BMW 120D turbine.
Gražvydas Smetonis has been working here since the first marathon races in 2000. He says that it is sad when the insignificant failures are the reason to lose the race.
G. Smetonis believes that the hot weather affects the racing cars and the drivers themselves as they get tired quickly. One can tell who will win only by looking at their energy.
