“Asus WinArt autocentro“ 17 years of experience and never ending passion
On July 17-20 in Palanga, an old team with a new name is going to participate “Asus WinArt autocentro”. This is going to be 17th race for the team.
“Asus WinArt autocentro“ made a debut back in 2002 as “Artrema Speedmaster“. They were driving the BMW M5. The drivers throughout the years have mastered their cars and have won many prizes in their category.
In 2004 the team has won 3rd place in A3000+ category. According to the team’s manager, this victory was the start of this passionate journey of the racing world.
However, not always luck has followed the team. Back in 2006 driver has a slide out of the track and the grass from all the heat caught fire. Luckily no one got hurt as it could have ended much worse as mechanics stated until the explosion was left only a few seconds. The disaster did not stop the drivers finishing the race.
In 2010 all the hard work paid off. The first place in the A3000 category and 7th in the overall board.
The team this year is driving BMW M6. All these years made the team even eager to win in their category and be in the top 10 in overall scoreboard.
