Drag ambitions through the rain
“Aurum 1006km race” Thursday evening was closed with the fastest drag racers’ award ceremony. However, rain has made some corrections, there were no final drag race and awards were given for fastest qualification racers. For the finals the track was unsafe and fast decisions were made.
46 participants of “ULTIM8 Drag by Startline“ competed in longer ¼ mile distance. First place in “Unlim“ class winner is Irmantas Burinskas who during the qualification drove his “Audi RS7“ in 10,352 seconds and at the finish line was 218 km/h fast. Second was Radomir Sverčkov (“Lamborghini Huracan“) and third - Darius Rakauskas (BMW M5).
In “Super Street“ the best was Edvinas Mileiko (BMW M5), second Donatas Skinderas (“Audi S5“) and third Saulis Petrošis (“Nissan GT-R“). In “Street“ first place took Kazys Povilionis (BMW 335), second - Darius Pumpalavičius (“Audi A8L“) and third Audrius Kulikauskas (“Audi S5“). “Stock“ class winner Egidijus Valutis with “Dodge Challenger“, second Marius Galminąs driving“Volkswagen Golf Cabrio“ and third Armen Sargisian, (BMW440).
