Fair Play Prize at the “Aurum 1006 km Powered by Hankook”
On 19-22 July, Palanga will host the prestigious car racing festival “Aurum 1006 km Powered by Hankook”, which has been organised continuously since 2000 by Promo Events.
In addition to the many innovations that this race offers every year, this year for the first time a Fair Play or Sportsmanship Award will be presented to a driver, or perhaps a team or event crew.
This was the idea of Mantas Matukaitis, a long-time race participant, who drove the new “Lamborghini Huracan ST EVO” for “Ignera & BioCircle by Dynami:t” team last year.
The idea was supported by the organisers, who are now setting up a jury to decide the fate of the prize and are working on a set of regulations for the evaluation of good behavior in motorsport.
The founder of the event, D. Jonušis, assured that the regulations of the “Aurum 1006 km Powered by Hankook” Fair Play Prize and the jury will be announced before the start of the event.
