The new course record secures the first starting position for the "Circle K MilesPlus Racing Team."

The intense practice battles on Friday evening have become the highlight of the "Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook" race, where the team drivers competed not only for the Cup of the Minister of Transport and Communications, Marius Skudis but also for the first starting position in the Saturday race.

The drivers were divided into two groups at the start of the qualifying race. The first group consisted of 16 teams, and the second group consisted of 15 teams.

The TOP 10 teams were the ten best performing teams, based on the times of the two drivers' fastest laps.

The benchmark was more than apparent. It was a new track record set today by "Circle K MylesPlus Racing Team's" Ralf Aron, who set a new track record of 1 min. 07.492 sec.

At the start of the TOP10 qualifying (lap 5), Paulius Paškevičius of "Gera dovana-Šiauliai By RD Sings" in his "Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo" set the track record with 1min. 06.428 sec. result.

The third track record set on Friday was the shortest - just 1 minute and a few seconds. On the sixth lap, P. Paškevičius was even faster - 1 min. 06.409 sec.

However, Ralf Aron of "Circle K MylesPlus Racing Team" from Estonia achieved the best time in the end. He reclaimed the record on the 12-lap in his "Audi R8 LMS" in 1 minute. 06.148 seconds. At an average speed of 145.96 km/h. That was the fifth track record set in one day.
