Last practices
This afternoon all 28 teams have started direct preparations for the qualifying competition, after which it will be clear which team will start the Aurum 1006 km race from the first position on Saturday.
In the first group, as yesterday, the pace was dictated by the Tarzanija Racing team and yesterday's leader. Aurimas Lekavičius, who replaced Karolis Blėdis, drove one 2682-meter-long track with the Audi S4 in 1 minute. 17,849 sec. (yesterday's result of K. Blėdis - 1 min. 18,573 sec.)
After only a few hundredths of a second, GSR Motorsport representative Eugenijus Misiūra with the BMW E90 (1min. 17,952 sec.) Reached the second result, and the third was Kaunas ASK team racer Paulius Novakas, who drove the legendary Lada 2104.
The Reimpex by KTK Racing, Dock by 222 and Intrans Racing by Meatbusters remained after the top three.
In the second group, 14 teams also competed, whose athletes drove more powerful cars, therefore the speeds were higher here.
There were no surprises either. Last year's winning Circle K MilesPlus Racing Team and Oskaras Brazaitis, who replaced Estonia's Ralf Aron, were the fastest again last year, driving the fastest lap with the Porsche GT3 CUP GEN2 in 1 minute. 10.789 sec. (yesterday R. Aron result 1 min. 10,665 sec.)
Egidijus Gutaravičius, a driver of "Good Gift - RD Sings", was the second in the group of the strongest, who dropped the leader in less than 1 second. 11,543 sec.
This time the third result was recorded by Arūnas Tuma, an athlete of Porsche Club by LG Oled, who drove a Porsche 911 - 1 min 11, 892 s
