THE 24TH "AURUM 1006 KM" RACE STARTS IN PALANGA
The start of the "Aurum 1006 km" race has been given in Palanga.
Martin van de Pavert, Race Director from the Netherlands, was honoured to announce, "Ladies and gentlemen, start the engines!" which is a traditional phrase before the start of the race.
All 23 teams that applied to compete lined up at the start line.
As the first hour after the start of the race drew to a close, and the driver switching requirement approached, Andreas Fjordbach of "Stateta BRO by HMobile," who had started from the first position, still managed to hold it, driving a "Mercedes-Benz AMG GT3 Evo".
Julius Adomavičius of "Circle KMylesPlus Racing Team," driving an "Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo" II, has maintained his second position.
Third – Paulius Paškevičius of "Nebankrutuok.lt-Club Exit by RD Sings" in his "Lamborgini Huracan ST Evo II."
But the race has just begun.
