The “Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook” race is halfway through

The “Porsche Baltic GT3” team, the leader of the “Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook” race in Palanga, is the first team to reach the halfway point of the race.

At 4.04 p.m., the “Porsche 911 GT3 CUP”, driven by Rokas Kvaraciejus, crossed 186 laps marking the halfway point of the event.

The fierce battle between the leaders, which started from the start, did not let up.

At the halfway point, the “Circle K MilesPlus Racing Team”, whose “Audi R8 LMS” was driven by track record holder Ralf Aron, took second place. He was a lap behind the leader.

In third position was the “Ignera &Bio-Circle by Dynamit” team, whose leader Mantas Matukaitis drove a “Lamborghini Huracan Super Trofeo EVO” and was 3 laps behind the leader.

The race in Palanga takes place on a dry track, with the thermometer rising to 20 degrees. The forecast rain has not yet affected the track, so there were no problems for the drivers or their team managers with tire changes or unscheduled pit stops.

Compared to last year's race, the halfway point was reached 54 minutes earlier. This suggests that the race itself will also be shorter. In addition, this year's race seems to be much quieter, with no major incidents.

Perhaps the biggest sensation is the leadership of “Porsche Baltic's” Robertas Kupčikas, who seems to be unperturbed by his replacement Rokas Kvaraciejus.
