Palanga is already filled with the rhythm of “Aurum 1006 km” race

The "Aurum 1006 km "race event was given the green light by the commission in Palanga on Wednesday, and all teams participating in the 24th endurance race were presented.

And today, on the 20th of July, the 23 teams participating in the race lined up on the race track and started a parade on the resort streets.

After the festive bustle, Vytautas Street hosted the "Dynami:t Super Sprint," part of the "Aurum 1006 km" race event. Karolis Blėdis of "Nanosun by Tarzanija Racing" won the race in an "Audi S4", completing it in 4.57 seconds. Ramūnas Čapkauskas of "TDS Group-Toks Racing Team" secured the second position with a time of 4.62 seconds in a "Porsche 911 GT3 Cup" car. Robertas Kupčikas of "Porsche Baltic 91" took third place, driving the same distance in 4.88 seconds with his "Porsche 911 GT3 Cup".

Later, activities shifted to the main "Aurum 1006 km" race track. "The Porsche Club Lietuva" members tested their cars, the "Ultim8 Drag" drivers began qualifying races, and the "Technitis Spectator Slalom" commenced, open to anyone who wanted to experience racing.

In the afternoon, the drivers started their practice sessions for Saturday's main trophy.
