Mechanics running
Friday noon in the Aurum 1006 km race town is really hot. Not only because the sun shines in Palanga, radiating 24 C degrees of heat. Here, the event is a lawn event, and when there was a short break in the racing program, the team mechanics took up the dispute between them.
In the 21 years that this race has been around, the traditional mechanics 1006-meter run has become an integral part of the whole event. This time it was hot, so the mechanics were more impressed by the partially renovated track.
By the way, the only girl involved in the running company - the mechanic of the Estonian Joujaam team tried to challenge the guys, but had to admit that this time they were faster. But maybe it will be an incentive for the organizers to include more members of the fairer sex in the team of mechanics, who would also compete in the 1006m run.
