The Best Car Sports Event Award Goes to Palanga Marathon
This weekend was held “The Best Driver 2017“ award. Several well-known drivers and a couple of thousand “15 min.lt“ readers have voted and chosen the best Lithuanian drivers and the best events of 2017. At first jury members have voted and then the readers of “15 min.lt“ joined in. Everything was counted and “The Best Car Sports Event“ award went to, for the 18th organized, “ENEOS 1006km race“. After calculating all the votes there was no doubt that this race is going to win the prize. In total 34,51% of people voted for this event to win.
For the “Promo events“, the organizers, it is yet another great news and a true award for the dedication to this event.
For 18 years this race event has seen drivers from almost every European country and round the world, countries like: the USA, Israel, Australia, the Philippines. Even in 2012, the winners were drivers from the South African Republic.
“Promo events“ manager, Darius Jonušis, answering what is the main point that leads to this racing success highlighted the team work not only in his own company but also with all the people they have to work with. He is happy that since 2010 they always take the award for best car sports event. Having this in mind, Darius Jonušis states that this year on July 18-21 they will have to make a huge effort to organize even a better event and never give to amaze the spectators, teams, sportsmen.
As the race organizers state, for 2018 race they started to prepare just after 2017 was finished. Soon teams will be able to register for the race.
