The leader of the three teams will not be resisting the temptation to get behind the wheel himself

Only a month and a half to go before the biggest in the Baltic States Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook race, which takes place in Palanga on 17-20 July.

This year it will be an extraordinary race, the 25th anniversary race in the event's continuous history since 2000.

With less time to go before the most responsible start of the year, the more excitement can be felt in the teams' garages, where the final touches are being put in place.

Porsche Lietuva is sending three teams to Palanga.

The first Porsche Baltic 4 team drivers Nerijus Raudonis, Darius Gaučius, Audrius Gricius and the fourth participant, who will be announced this week, will drive a brand new Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 RS Clubsport car. This is a manufacturer-designed racing model, maintained at the Porsche Centre in Vilnius and will be looked after by a professional team of Porsche technicians during the race.

"The Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 RS Clubsport reaches 100 km/h in 4 seconds.

The other two Porsche Lietuva teams - Porsche Baltic 91 and Porsche Baltic 92 - are already fully formed, and their drivers will drive identical Porsche 911 GT3 CUP 992 cars, each with 3.996-litre engines producing 510 hp.

The drivers of the „Porsche Baltic 91“ team are Tomas Svidinskas, Leonardas Diržys, Ramūnas Grigaitis and Mantas Jasiulevičius.

"Porsche Baltic 92 team drivers Domas Raudonis, Tautvydas Rudokas and Porsche Lietuva teams‘ leader Robertas Kupčikas, Porsche Experience project director.

R. Kupčikas, one of the most experienced in endurance racing, who also won the 2018 race in Palanga, does not hide the fact that the Porsche Racing Experience is looking forward to welcoming all those who want to realise their dream - to become a racing driver.
