Registration for the “Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook” race has begun

Back in early December, the race organizers, VšĮ “1000 km lenktynės,” announced that the biggest and most prominent endurance race in Palanga would take place on July 15–18 this year. Now, participant registration is officially open.

Starting today, January 7, teams are invited to submit their applications and secure the right to be among the first to choose more convenient spots during the race. Applications can be submitted through the organizers’ website: https://racing.lt/lt/1006km/registracija

“We truly want to see as many competing teams as possible in the race, and the level of motorsport in Lithuania has been steadily rising for years. This also means that the cost of participation continues to increase. This year, we’ve introduced new rules to make it easier for lower-budget teams to participate more comfortably.

There’s still more than half a year until the race, but we all know how quickly time flies – I encourage everyone to start with registration, and then, as the first track sessions approach, everything falls into place,” invites the main organizer, Darius Jonušis, to the 27th edition of the race.

Early team registration brings clarity and additional benefits to both the teams and the organizers. Those who submit their applications first receive priority in selecting spots in the paddock or pitlane zones. Meanwhile, the organizers, having at least a preliminary idea of participant numbers, can better prepare and adapt the infrastructure for the hottest racing weekend of the year.

Spectator tickets are also now available – this year, the organizers have simplified the options to just five ticket levels, making the selection process clearer and more straightforward.
