The winners of the qualifying have set a new lap record
Many riders argue, that the starting position has no major impact on the outcome of marathon races such as the Aurum 1006 km race.
However, seeing the responsibility with which the participants started the qualifying, and especially the TOP 10 competitions, it was clear that this is not just a matter of honor.
Friday's tense and interesting training program was completed by the qualifying competition and the Super Pole (or TOP 10) selection, which determined which team - the winners of the selection competition - will receive not only the cup established by the Minister of Transport Marius Skuodis, but also the opportunity to open Saturday's Aurum 1006 km race start from the first starting position.
