More than 300 finished the 108 km women challenge
Only women take part in one of Aurum 1006 km racing festival events – the 108 km women challenge. 81 crew each with 2-5 women started their challenge in Palanga‘s racetrack on Friday morning and finished couple hours later in Atostogu parkas.
They did slalom racing, special quizzes and other tasks. The creativity of participants made all region of Palanga look nicer than usual – women decorated their cars and spend much time finding ways how to look different. The team names are unusual as well: Fast divorce (Greitos skyrybos), The other left (Kita kaire), Iron gazelles from the garage (Geležinės garažo gazelės) and etc.
It took long time for rally stewards to sum up all results. The best performance was done by WonderWomen (Auguste Rupsyte, Ruta Saladziene, Karolina Staniulyte and Laura Radziauskaite) with Volkswagen Golf.
The winners got a big trophy and special prizes from challenge partners – Ibis, Hankook, Atostogu parkas, etc.
