Friday morning at the “Aurum 1006 km” track started with practice sessions
Friday, the third day of the "Aurum 1006 km," is full of events.
At 10:50 am, the main race track will be the "108 km Women's Challenge” rally starting point. The "Ultim&Drag" qualifying races will start at 11:00. At 12:10, the "1000 m Mechanics' Running Competition" will take place. At 14:10, the Porsche cars will briefly occupy the track again. At 15.30, the central event of the day will be the "Aurum 1006 km" qualifying race, followed immediately by the Top 10 Qualifiers, after which Saturday's starting grid for the main race will be decided.
The drivers preparing for the qualifying races have started training early in the morning and will have several practice sessions before the qualifying races.
During Friday's first practice session, the "LGOLED&LKU by Porsche Club" team's British driver, Benjamin Barker, set the fastest lap time at 1 minute 07.595 seconds.
"Circle K miles Plus Racing Team 2" secured the second spot with their "Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II", with a time of 1 minute 07.886 seconds.
"Nebankrutuok.lt-Club Exit by RD Sings" claimed the third position, completing one lap in 1 minute 09.035 seconds, with a "Lamborghini Huracan ST E."
