More innovations on the Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook race weekend

“I'm glad that over 30 teams have already expressed their interest to participate in "Aurum 1006 km race" which will be held in Palanga on 14-17 of July." says Darius Jonušis, the main organiser of the event. "The organisers are doing everything to make the racing festival as much as possible exciting and attractive for both participants and spectators."

For the very first time, organisers will introduce 4x4 Off-Road three stage's racing event on the weekend of the race festival.

Off-Road enthusiasts will start their performance on Friday, July 16, when the first stage of 4x4 trial will take place. But just before that, the Parade of all participants will be driving to Palanga to show their racing technic for all fans.

On Saturday morning, an 4x4 Off-Road race will start tourism stage and in the afternoon, they will return to the "Aurum 1006 km power by Hankook" race village, where they will hold the final third stage - trial race. Afterwards, the competition winners will be called to the main stage where the awards ceremony will be held.

Another news awaits those who will be watching "Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook" on TV, it’s a presentation of a Vintage cars competition. The competition of vintage cars will occur on Friday, but we will see all participants on Saturday morning since all exclusive cars will line up for the parade to Palanga.

The race called the largest motorsport fiesta in the Baltic States is already one of the most anticipated events in the country this year.
