If you haven’t participated in this event before, we invite you to register and take on the challenge! In 2025, we promise to surprise not only first-time participants but also our most loyal fans. This will be the 8th edition of the event, and we guarantee breathtaking views, unseen landmarks, and fun, exciting challenges along the way.

In this recreational-orienteering rally, even more teams will receive awards as we introduce additional competition categories:

• General Classification – all challenge participants compete together.
• First-Time Participants Classification – for teams where all members are participating for the first time.
• Two-Member Team Classification
• More Than Two-Member Team Classification
• Electric Vehicle Classification
• Three Challenges Plus Classification – for teams where at least one member has participated more than three times.
• Corporate Team Classification – if you represent a company and have formed two or more teams, this category is for you! Teams will earn points, and the best-performing company will be determined.

WOMEN'S TV8 AND AURUM 1006 KM RACE FESTIVAL

On July 18, 2025, Women’s TV8 will once again gather ladies for an exclusive event within the Aurum 1006 km race festival.

For the past eight years, countless women have taken on the 108 km Women’s Challenge, a rally that requires skillful navigation using a road book and maps to discover historical, geographical, and scenic landmarks. The reward? Stunning coastal views from your car window! Teams will experience a day full of adventure, excitement, and unforgettable memories, culminating in a grand awards ceremony on the Aurum 1006 km festival stage.

EVENT DETAILS

• Date: Friday, July 18, 2025
• Pre-start Registration: 08:00 – 08:45 AM at the Palanga Stadium parking lot (S. Dariaus & S. Girėno St.)
• Briefing & Official Opening Ceremony
• Parade on the Aurum 1006 km race track
• Finish: Estimated first team arrival at 18:00

WHAT TO EXPECT?

A fun-filled day where women’s teams will cover 108 km of an orienteering rally route, completing various tasks along the way. Competing for the 108 km Women’s Challenge trophy, participants will enjoy an incredible experience surrounded by amazing women, with the sea breeze in their hair!

HOW TO PREPARE?

1. Gather Your Team! Discuss with your friends and decide on your team lineup. Each team must have at least two members – a driver and a navigator – but you can also bring a full support squad in your car!
2. Get Creative! Choose a team name, dress up, and decorate your car however you like. Stand out from the crowd!
3. Plan Ahead! Wear comfortable clothes suited for summer weather (expect a hot day) and bring anything you need to enjoy the event.
4. Fuel Up! We recommend arriving with a full tank – we can’t guarantee a gas station where you might need one!
5. Register! Sign up your team and read through the event rules carefully.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During the rally, teams will need to navigate using maps and a road book (provided at registration), discovering unique historical, geographical, and unexpected locations along scenic coastal routes.

Start: The challenge kicks off on the Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook race track.
End: After a day of exciting adventures, we will arrive at the evening program venue within the Aurum 1006 km race festival village, where the winners will be announced on the main stage.

The 108 km Women’s Challenge Champions will be the teams that achieve the best results while successfully completing tasks and maintaining the required speed in specific sections of the route.
