Palanga 1006km

17-20 of July

DRAG

The Drag Race is another integral part of the Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook race festival. DragFest has been organizing Drag for 7 consecutive years now. Every year, the size and quality of the event grow, and the event has become international because the organisers are expecting participants even from Holland!

Two days - two drag cups! Everybody will be able to try their capabilities with their own car (limited space available) on Thursday and Friday. There will be practices and qualifying competition series, as well as the battle for the 'Ultim8' cup.

Some cars will have even 3 times more horsepower than any other year!
Professionals and amateurs will have the ability to compete in one equalised class!

July 18 (Thursday) next to the main track, behind the so-called "Klaipeda turn" in a separate distance of 1/4 mile (402.336 meters) with an 850-meter long braking zone, there will be practice and qualifying competition.

Only the fastest drivers will compete on the "Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook" race track on Thursday evening. Over a distance of 1/8 mile (201.168 meters), where the stopping zone will be 450 meters long, the racers will compete for the Road Police Cup.

July 19 (Friday) will be no less adrenaline-pumping, with competitors pushing the gas all the way to the bottom and competing for the 1/4 Mile Cup.
