Latvian team to take part in Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook race

Many teams are already counting down the hours, not the days, until the Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook, the biggest long-distance race in the Baltics, which starts in Palanga on 17 July.

The last ones to be added to the list for the anniversary race are our Latvian neighbours, the Porsche Latvia Racing Team in a Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport car.

The 49th car will be driven by the youngest member of the team, 23-year-old Valteris Zviedris from Jurmala, who is considered to be Latvia's brightest rising star in motorsport.

Another Latvian team member, Andrejs Kuznetsov, celebrated his 62nd birthday in early June.

In addition to these athletes, the Porsche Latvia Racing Team will also be represented by 51-year-old Latvian racer Martin Lukstinis and 42-year-old Lithuanian Darius Gaidulionis.
