This year’s drag race will feature two 1300hp monsters

Drag race practices will start on Thursday, and winners will be decided after the final battles on Friday, July 21st, with the award ceremony for the “Road Police Service” and “Ultim8” Cups taking place on the same day.

Practice and qualifying sessions will happen on a separate 1/4-mile track with an 850-meter stopping zone off the “Aurum 1006 km” race track. Finalists will move to the main “Aurum 1006 km” track, where they'll compete for awards on a 1/8-mile track with a 450-meter stopping zone.

Though “Startline Motors” team already has a big surprise for everyone involved in the drag race.

Two drivers – Algirdas Zaronskis and Irmantas Burinskas, will compete on July 21st with two drag monsters boasting 1,300 HP each.

Algirdas will drive a modified “2010 Nissan GTR R35,” while Irmantas will use a newer 2018 “Audi R8” with a 5.2-liter V10 SL Performance twin-turbo engine.
