It's getting hotter and hotter in the 25th anniversary edition of the Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook. On Friday morning, drivers were back behind the wheel of the most powerful cars and racking up the kilometres in the third practice session.
They recorded the best track times of the week. Dan Anders Fjordbach of last year's champion STATETA BRO-TOKS by IGNERA completed the fastest lap in 1 minute 06.428 sec. in his Mercedes-Benz A MG GT3 E. That's just one second slower than his own track record from last year (1 min 05.425 sec).

The participants were divided into five classes based on the power and characteristics of their cars. All of them were fiercely contested, with milliseconds being the difference. Many were affected by an early start, others by a lack of speed, but all the participants enjoyed a great support from the spectators.
The final runs of the drag race took place on the Aurum 1006 km race track, and the participants had to cover a distance of 1/8 of a mile (201.168 metres).
