The first day of the event, as is customary in motorsport, is devoted to checking the equipment and the health of the drivers themselves, which is the responsibility of the event's administrative and technical committees.
Only after their decision will the teams be allowed to enter the temporary race town, where the champions and prize-winners of the 23rd Marathon Race will be announced on Saturday 16 July.

Less than a week remaining until the "Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook" race in Palanga, the largest long-distance car race in the Baltic States.
"I am delighted that our traditional event has on the list over thirty teams again this year," says Darius Jonušis, director of Promo Events.
