On 19-22 July, Palanga will host the prestigious car racing festival “Aurum 1006 km Powered by Hankook”, which has been organised continuously since 2000 by Promo Events.

In addition to the many innovations that this race offers every year, this year for the first time a Fair Play or Sportsmanship Award will be presented to a driver, or perhaps a team or event crew.

“Although the Aurum 1006 km Powered by Hankook race is still five months away, we already have over 20 teams who have expressed their interest in competing in the only race of its kind in Lithuania.” – says Darius Jonušis, founder of the event.

Promo Events, the organiser of the largest endurance race “Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook” in the Baltic States since 2000, has already announced that the prestigious, traditional motorsport festival will take place in Palanga on the 19-22 July 2023.

Participants will be able to register to the annual “Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook” race from 12 December 2022 at www.racing.lt and provide all the necessary information about the team that is going to take a part in the race.

The date of the “Aurum 1006 km powered by Hankook”, the largest endurance race in the Baltic States, to be held in Palanga in 2023, has been announced.

It will be the 24th edition of the prestigious car racing festival, organised by “Promo Events” since 2000, inviting drivers and fans to Lithuania’s largest resort on 19-22 July next year.

“I would like to invite all the drivers and spectators to mark in their calendars 19-22 July 2023, when we will be meeting at our traditional meeting point - the country’s favourite summer resort,” reminds D. Jonušis.

• The teams consisted of 110 drivers and 31 team leaders from five countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Finland.
